The Historic Courthouse Square is the site for the second Centerville Winefest. The lawn around the Courthouse is where Iowa vintners will provide the wine for tasting. Food vendors will offer everything from breads and fine cheeses to jambalaya and pita sandwiches. Area artists and bands will provide entertainment all afternoon as well. Other events include grape stomping, wine pairing presentations and cooking demonstrations.
The gates will open at 3 p.m. in the afternoon and the event will last until 9 p.m. General admission will be $5 and if you want to taste the wines, another $10 will provide an engraved wine glass and samples of wine. For more information, visit www.iowawinefest.com.
